Backcountry Wines is devoted to the independent grape growers and winemakers who are often overlooked as the industry has become more commercialized. We aim to build a personal connection between these dedicated men and women and people like us who appreciate wines of character and quality. We know that wines often reflect the personality of the land and labor that has produced them. We especially enjoy highlighting small, off the beaten path wineries in unique grape-growing regions that practice natural farming and minimalist winemaking.
In addition, we plan on providing affordable activity and dining recommendations that complement the wine tasting experience and reflect the landscape and personality of the region.
